eTransMedix have 4 steps quality control process in place for improving and maintaining quality levels.
Step 1: RECEIPT OF DICTATION
The Doctor simply dictates into the digital recorder connected to a computer. Voice files of the dictation are automatically generated and can uploaded to our secure FTP server using our management portal. These files are directly downloaded at our transcription center.
Step 2: THE MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION
Our Transcriptionists are split into specialist teams. Each dictation is treated as a project and is allocated to an individual transcriptionist in the right specialty to ensure quality through familiarization on a regular basis.
Step 3: QUALITY CONTROL
We observe strict discipline in the two most critical areas in MT - Quality and Turnaround Time. Each transcribed document goes through a two-tiered Quality Assurance process, with a third level available where a recheck is necessary by a senior QA executive.
QA Level I - done by transcriptionist with at least 2-3 years of actual work experience with various accounts and specialties
QA Level II - done by transcriptionist with at least 3 years of actual work experience with various accounts and specialties
Step 4: OUTPUT AND COMPLETION
All Reports are visually checked for correctness, signed off and delivered securely to the Doctor's password-protected directory. Intimation appears on the Doctor's management portal Dashboard from where the reports can be downloaded in just one click.
